Frap is looking for an outgoing and social Director of Outreach to manage Frap social media channels, organize fraternity and sorority sales nationwide, and change the way colleges do Greek life by using Frap! The role will remain part-time with provided compensation and apparel.
This individual will reach out to fraternity and sorority executives, network with members of Greek life, plan social events encouraging the use of Frap in college throughout the US, and post various marketing materials through social media and other creative outlets.
The ideal candidate is an excellent content creator, social marketer, involved in Greek life, and wants to be apart of a new, event-focused Greek life app spreading throughout the US. This individual should have a large network and passion for event and content marketing and management.
This role is open to those ages 18 years or older in the United States, preferably the Midwest.
Create engaging content that tells of your experience using Frap while keeping in mind Frap’s mission, brand, and values
Write and edit clear, creative copy to be used on Frap’s social channels
Reach out to various contacts in the Greek community at your university and those surrounding
Conduct research and case studies within the social scene at various colleges to further supplement your experiences and shared findings
Have the ability to organize and attend various social events involved in Greek life around the Midwest
Experience with OmegaFi, OmegaOne, Greek Capital Management, or other Greek management softwares
Proficient in English (speaking and writing). Additional languages and fluencies are a plus!
Must have a strong network of individuals in Greek life
Savvy with social media and able to effectively communicate with a variety of different audiences
Comfortable meeting with team of designers, developers, or management
Readily takes action on challenges without unnecessary planning
Reliable in communications (you proactively communicate times you may be unavailable, and respond to requests in a timely manner)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Familiar with and supportive of Frap’s mission to empower and simplify Greek management across the US
Experience and confidence in planning social events for the Greek community
Strong believer in Frap’s brand vision and values
Have a love of talking with others, networking, partying while ensuring the safety of others
Social butterfly; you’re always open to new adventures and love saying yes for the excitement of a novel experience!
Flexible; you’re able to go with the flow, and open to last minute changes
Self-starter: thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight
Comfortable with both ambiguity and autonomy, and have a track record of setting and hitting your own deadlines
